Greg has 34 years of diverse experience in the exploration and mining industry. Prior to his position with Oro Silver, he spent 15 years with Placer Dome in a variety of project and exploration management positions including Vice President of Exploration for the Americas. He was the General Manager of Global Mine-site Exploration during the last 7 years. In this position, he oversaw the successful expansion of the reserves at Placer Dome’s mines in Ontario, Nevada, Montana, Chile, Western Australia, Queensland, Tasmania, Papua New Guinea, and Tanzania. He managed budgets of up to US$60 million per year.

Earlier in his career, while with Noranda, he took part in the discovery and conducted advanced-stage drilling leading to production at the Gray Eagle gold mine in the Klamath Mountains, California. He managed surface and underground silver-lead-zinc exploration at the Ontario Mine while it was operating in Park City, Utah. Later with Meridian Minerals, he conducted and managed exploration leading to production at the Royal Mountain King Mine in the Mother Lode District of California by Meridian and FMC.
